Reunion Official Information
Date: Saturday November 25
Where: Putter's Pub & Grill 1524 4th Ave Rock Island (near The District)
Time: 7:00pm room open, appetizers from 8-10pm
Cost: $20/person (collected at the door)
Menu: Assorted Veggie Tray, Swedish Meatballs, Fried Chicken Wings (3 sauces), BBQ Smokey's, Mini sandwiches (turkey & ham), chips & salsa, crab mold dip
One keg of beer will be provided along with a DJ
Putter's has a bar downstairs, but our reunion will be upstairs. We have 2 large rooms that will *seat* 150 people, with plenty more room for more if needed. For those of you who do not drink, I think you'll be plenty satisfied with the location we chose. You have the option to stay away from the keg/liquor area and there's a seperate room available for you to hang out in.
As far as Friday night before, some people have already booked rooms at the Holiday Inn Moline. *If you get a room* you will be able to swim and bring up to 5 people with you. If you feel like coming out just to socialize, there will be an area in the back part of the hotel where the rooms will be that people will be drinking and have snacks and stuff. If you do choose to go to that area, please bring a snack and your own alcohol with you. The Holiday Inn does allow drinking out in the open area by the main entrance pool if you choose to be there. I have a rate of $89/night, but if you can get a cheaper rate then rock on!
*** We will be having a meeting this Sunday (Nov. 5th) at 7pm at the Holiday Inn lounge to try to get addresses and information for people we don't have contact information for yet. If you would like to come and help us, please bring your yearbook, a phonebook, and cell phone.***

Thank you so much for everything!!! I know if it wasn't for you, there would of been NO reunion. Your hard work does not go unnoticed. We are going to have a great time:)
everyone should be careful with the drinking. Rock Island and especially the district have become high DUI areas. Shame this couldn't have been in Moline, but kudos for the planning.
I would suggest having a designated driver with you if possible if people plan on getting drunk.
It's too bad that it is on Thanksgiving weekend. I know Andrea has done a lot to set it up and it's appreicated, but wish it was a non holiday weekend.

Dude this is so Awesome that we are doing this on a BLOG. I figue we can pass a hat for a keg if we need to. The upstairs has a high ceiling so I can do a Keg Stand if you all will help me.
At 22 I was too wasted to grow up and now at 28 I have too many kids to grow up. Can some drive me to my trailer later that night?

Just an FYI on the Beer. The main reason why it says one keg is because we are still unsure on the turnout. If we have a good turn out we will have more money which means more beer.... Bottom line I think we will have a good time and this is really going to be laid back.

I dont get all the animosity. Too many people still care about what others think after all this time. I am concerned like others about the amount of beer and the price to get in. I guess its a wait and see.

I just want everyone to realize that Jax is in Africa (planning a natural helper retreat with MD) Paz and AC or full of shit! They are CIA opps. Workn on the Gay rest stops areas through out the midwest.

FYI. The last I heard from Sawvell he was in Akron, Ohio training for the national dodge ball tournament and to be a Lucha Libre. He was currently in between names but was leaning towards El Papas Fritas. This is a huge career change from his last job as stunt double for Jackie Chan.

Hey all! Hats off to Mike, Andrea, and Amber for all the planning. It's just really unfortunate that after 10 years people obviously can't get over their crap! Why can't we use this website for a positive, like to keep in touch with one another and possibly get a committee together to help plan future reunions! Now there's a novel idea. Again, thanks to Mike, Andrea, and Amber and lets just try to leave a lot of the BS off of here.

Has anybody been able to check out AC's new band HOT RED BAB0ON ASS? I heard a little bit of the new single titled "Cervix Elevator". It kind of reminds of a mix of LL Cool J meets Journey, with a spalsh of Arressted Development. I think he is really on to something with this one!!

I sure wish people would stop acting like they are so grown up. Hello people we are 28 not 50. I have two children, and guess what I have the time of my life playing with them. By definition playing with children would make me immature. Also last time I check Putters served food making it a restaurant and not just a "bar". Although I'm not thrilled about it being in Rock Island I'm still going to go. Afterall I personally would not have wanted to plan this event. So why don't the people who keep complaining about everything the organizers have done volunteer to organize the 15 year. Put your money where your mouth is!
I'm ready to have a great time!!!! I never thought our class was bad???????

How sad that after 10yrs I have grown up. I think for our 15yr I should plan the party! Why have a blog and want ideas when [no one listens ever listens to me] anyway. I have out grown the drunk scene and would of rather had something else such as a neatly organized lemonade/scrapbooking/sticker party at my new place bought with my own money from working at the Prude Institute. I was planning on going until I read that it's at a place where people like to go. Oh well..I guess I will never get the grundy out of my ass (even after 10 years).

(why did you even bother to write your comment before? obviously you really did want to meet up with old friends...we're all the same people we were before. Our mind stays the same and our bodies age - that's it. I'm sure your old friends would be happy to have a great conversation with you whether there were drinks there or not. Please come and put your heart on your sleeve. We will have fun, heal old wounds, and get a fresh outlook from people that know us better than we know ourselves)

I've kept my mouth shut and allowed these comments to stay up, but come on you guys, seriously. It's too bad that I've received emails from people who have now said they aren't going because of how immature people are acting on this site. It's cool to joke around and stuff (which most of it is that people don't understand), but this had been alot of work to organize so just try to keep it mature and not give a pre-conceived notion that it's going to suck. We are all going to have a great time, and yes, Putter's does serve food and it's not a "bar," it's more of a pub atmosphere. By the way, to the person who asked about rsvp's, we're looking between 100-150.
